The Warren Astronomical Society is a non-profit organization of amateur astronomers serving the Metro Detroit area. The Society (http://www.warrenastro.org) meets twice monthly to share presentations about astronomy: observations, science, and history. There's a monthly discussion group that covers all sorts of topics (astronomical and otherwise). The Society emphasizes volunteerism and public outreach. In addition to volunteering for events, our members (who live all over the Detroit area) are happy to give talks to schools and other groups young and old. If you'd be interested in having a club member talk to your group (whether in the classroom or in the field), please contact us.
There are no upcoming events for this partner.
