Purpose, Vision, Mission and Objectives:
Purpose - The Purpose of OneMacomb is to support Macomb County leaders in active, positive and affirmative response to its increasing cultural diversity and inclusion efforts.
Vision - OneMacomb Vision is a community that welcomes all people and celebrates their unique contributions.
Mission - OneMacomb's Mission is to facilitate or support collaborative and community-based activities which celebrate cultural diversity and inclusion in Macomb County.
Objectives - OneMacomb carries out its mission by working to accomplish three key Objectives:
Promote multiculturalism and inclusiveness as key reasons why Macomb County is one of Michigan's best places to live, work, and play.
Strengthen Macomb County's economy by supporting the County's multicultural entrepreneurs and by bringing internationally-based businesses into the County. Identify and implement multiculturalism and inclusiveness "best practices" in all Macomb County government policies and practices, in how the County recruits, hires and trains its staff, and in how it delivers its services.
